Apart from its convenient location, Mount Pleasant has plenty to offer to help you enjoy a relaxing and fun-filled holiday in this wonderful county. Beautiful beaches are just a short drive away but if you prefer you can enjoy a refreshing dip in our lovely heated pool, which is open from Easter or April to the end of September. Although it is covered, the sun shines through and it feels like you are outside.

You can sunbathe on the patio, while the children are entertained  in the specially designed  play area, or if you feel more energetic, perhaps take a stroll around the 10 acres of garden and farmland to see the chickens and other animals. The newly updated games room is a favourite with all our visitors, young and old alike; you can try your hand at table tennis, darts, air hockey or pool.

Of course, Bodmin Moor is all around Mount Pleasant. You can walk out of the grounds directly on to the Moor, or just a short drive away you can visit the famous landmarks, including Roughtor and Brown Willy, the highest point on the Moor, as well as The Cheesewring and the historic mining relics around Minions.
